The renovation project of Brändö Daycare Center in Vaasa has now been completed!

This is an exceptional project representing Art Nouveau architecture, which is quite rare for Vaasa. The building, completed in 1906, originally served as Brändö School and has now been given new life as a modern daycare center. Adapting a historically valuable building to meet modern needs has required careful planning, solid construction expertise, and seamless collaboration.

Projects of this kind can only succeed through great teamwork. A warm thank you to the City of Vaasa, designers, contractors, subcontractors, authorities, and everyone else involved in the project. Everyone’s expertise, commitment, and spirit of cooperation have played a decisive role in achieving this goal together.

It is truly gratifying to help preserve a valuable architectural heritage while enabling a new purpose for the building. In this way, the 120-year-old building can continue its important mission in the daily lives of Vaasa’s children and families for decades to come.
